Smith Solutions brings comprehensive community development services to nonprofits, government entities, and small businesses, with deep expertise in workforce development and real estate development. Our team brings creative thinking, evidence-based best practices, and reliable but adaptable process management to every project. Smith Solutions has extensive and diverse funds development capacity – from structuring capital stacks to conceptualizing and writing high quality grant proposals and building partnerships and teams to design and sustain funded initiatives. For more than a decade, we have been engaged by diverse community development entities to envision and promote systems change efforts that improve our collective ability to mitigate neighborhood blight, household poverty, and poor quality of life in our communities.

Danielle Smith

Danielle is an Indianapolis-based project management professional with more than a decade of experience in the real estate development industry. Her company, Smith Solutions, provides management, planning, training, relocation, and owner’s representation services to small businesses, municipalities, and non-profit organizations. She walks clients through a project from beginning to end, including development opportunity analysis, compliance, and budget and schedule development and management. Along the way clients build processes and undergo training. She has experience with LIHTC, CDBG, HOME, and URA programs, among others.

Gina Davis

Gina is an Indianapolis-based community and economic development professional respected for her work in government, nonprofit, corporate, and academic environments. Known for being flexible, adaptable, and creative, Gina incorporates best practices to inform solutions to human and community challenges. She is most passionate about her work in talent development, where she has deep experience designing, leading, and assessing workforce and education initiatives for low-income households that address capacity needs of and improve coordinated responses by community partners. Her fundraising expertise has secured over $60 million from diverse philanthropic and public funding sources.
